Having a wedding reception for about 80 with buffet hors'd (6 or 7 different kinds), cheese tray, veggie tray, cupcakes, home made candies, cheese cake, mixed drinks and beer. Can u tell me how many plates, cups, drink napkins, hors'd, desserts, beer, alcohol (and what kinds for basic mixed drinks), mixers, soda, etc.? Any help would be appreciated... I have no idea how to guess amounts of anything and we're doing it all ourselves. Thank you!!

On average, over a dinner period, we would suggest having 4-5 canapes per person available per hour. We suggest having 3-4 large platters of each of the veggies and the fruit and enough cupcakes for each of your guests to enjoy. We would also suggest having 1-2 cheesecakes. As for the liquor please take a look at the chart below to calculate how much you would need.

The basic drink mixes are soda, tonic water, a cola, a clear pop and a couple of juices - orange being on of them.
