We are serving 2 white wines, 4 kinds of beer and 3 varieties of martinis for 200 people at a wedding reception. How much do we purchase of wine and beer? We are offering wedding cake martini and cosmopolitans and plain martini. How much and what ingredients do we purchase for those?

We estimate that 40% of guests will have wine, 40% will have a mixed drink and 20% will have beer. On average your guests will have 1 drink per person per hour. You should get (for a 4 hour event) approx. 60-65 bottles of wine, enough mix to make approx. 300-320 martini's and 6-8 cases of beer.
