I heard that Oyster's are the best to eat in April? Is that true and is there a "high" season for oysters?

The month's ending with the letter R have traditionally been the best
months for oysters, but with the many varieties on the market, different
oysters come to market at different times. Malpeque oysters are one of my favorites. They come from Malpeque Bay in Nova Scotia.
