I am sending 300 invitations for a wedding. How many should tell a caterer to prepare for?

Based on 300 invitations you will receive between a 70% and 90% rsvp
yes rate. So depending if the invites are each for one or two people, do the
math for an estimate and give the caterer a range which you should be able to
confirm exactly 3 weeks before the wedding.
